Who are you to pass judgment on someone else’s servant? Before his own master he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
- Romans 14:4
Whenever we are taught not to be judgmental, it doesn’t mean that when someone is at fault, we turn a blind eve and pretend not to notice them. It doesn’t mean that we refuse to discern between truth and error, goodness and evil.
To be judgmental means to be censorious. “Censorious” is the eager inclination to criticize, disapprove of, find fault with others. It is harsh, hypercritical and condemning of others.
A censorious person is a fault-finder, who is negative and destructive towards others, and pronouncing judgment and condemnation as if he is the judge of their lives.
So, let’s be careful and not to be judgmental towards others today.
God Bless
